Z-Wood
Z-Wood? What do you mean wood - not sure what that computer term is?
Well - it is not - the owner caught the bug and figured might has well have that hobby help support itself.
Olive wood blank cut on the band saw.
Black markings are used to make sure
that when placed on the lathe it is
align the middle.
(No, the blank is not aligned here
and it is still wrong when mounted
on the lathe. )
Pen blank squared off and ready to be put on the lathe
Mounted on lathe
basic rounding of square blank on lathe - this is a cigar style
pen. While this pen can be quite functional - olive wood seems
to work better in a Baron style pen.
The picture of this pen can be found on the home page.
Tiger / quilted maple pen assembled
Plastic pen - well sort of - but no cheap bic pen here
Here are a few stubby pencils
