Simple way to cook rice.
No need to measure. Just add the amount of rice you need to the pan. Rinse several times with water. Drain out the water. Then put your index finger just on top of the rice and fill the pan with water until it hits your first knuckle. Cook on high until it comes to a boil. Turn heat to simmer with a tight fitting lid for 20 minutes. This is a traditional Chinese way to cook rice.
